Shirley J. Widmer, 77, of Sun City West, Arizona, passed away on August 13, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.She was born December 4, 1939 to Merland D. Brown and Viola Dillon in Astoria, Illinois.Shirley graduated from IVC High School. She was very active in her 3 girls school activities and enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors.Shirley is survived by her beloved partner Terry Moore, she was a very loving mother to Kimberly (Dave) Bond, Phoenix, AZ; Kelley R. West, Waddell, AZ; and Kori L. Widmer, Peoria, IL; she was also the loving grandmother of Jordan (Alex)Bond, Austin (Hannah Brooks) Bond, Tanner West, Logan West and Paxton West; and her 3 great grandchildren. Shirley is also survived by her step-sister Lin Myers, Ipava, IL; niece Jody Brown, Peoria, IL and nephew Jeff Brown, San Francisco, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents Merland & Viola Brown; brother Dale Brown and sister Dottie Raines.A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2pm at the Sun City West Foundation in Sun City West.
