SUN CITY WEST - Shirley J. Scolastico, 85, a 24 year resident of Sun City West, Arizona passed away Friday, March 7, 2014. She was born July 3, 1928 in Reading, Pennsylvania to Paul and Edna Hertz. Shirley was married to John Scolastico Sr. for 42 years. He passed away in 1995. Survivors include her sons, John Jr. (Bev) of Plano, Texas, Jeffrey of Ocala, Florida, James (Jessica) of Lake Oswego, Oregon. She was also predeceased by her step-mother, Sarah; and her brother, Roger. Memorial services were 10 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2014 at Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel in Sun City West.
