Shirley Felske

Shirley Felske, of Sun City, AZ, passed away on September 22, 2018. There will be a private burial in Iowa at a later date. Shirley was born in Davenport, Iowa on May 27, 1934. She had three brothers and one sister. Shirley grew up in Davenport, while later living in Bettendorf and LeClaire, Iowa.She and Joe retired to Arizona 20 years ago. Throughout her life, Shirley enjoyed snowmobiling, partying with Shriners (Joe was a Shriner), reading, sewing, and making assorted crafts. She loved her Schnauzers (they had three throughout their marriage).Shirley loved her children and grandchildren very much. She was an incredibly fun and thoughtful person. Shirley was preceded in death by her best friend and husband, Ralph "Joe" Felske; her daughter, Jerilyn Irvine; her parents; her sister, Marilyn; and her brothers, Bob and Gerald Meyer. She is survived by her son, Kerry Felske; his wife, Julie Felske; her grandchildren, Kara Felske and Tyler Felske (all of Highlands Ranch, CO); her grandson, Johnny Irvine (Iowa City, IA); and her brother, Dick Meyer (Paxton, IL).
