Shirley Davis Tucker, 79Shirley Tucker of Sun City West died June 19, 2007 after a seven-year battle with Alzehimer"s. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, where she managed the non-selling department of a stock brokerage firm. She and her husband, John, moved to Sun City West in 1999 from Harrisburg, Pa. In the 1950s she enjoyed stock car racing where she usually competed against men and was touted as the best woman driver in the country. Survivors include her husband, John; children, Clay of Surprise, Shana of Austin, Texas; brother, Ed Davis and his wife, CJ, of Sun City. The family suggests donations to the Alzheimer"s Association or to Desert Palms Presbyterian Church, 13459 Stardust Blvd., Sun City West, 85375. Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel made the arrangements.
