SUN CITY - Shirley Clopton died July 9, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; and son, Bill. She is survived by a grandson, Jerod Clopton of Lubbock, Texas; and daughter-in-love, Cheryl Clopton, of Sun City. Shirley loved the retirement years in Sun City, especially golf and the Early Bird Lions Club. She was a registered nurse at hospitals in Denver, Colo., Cheyenne, Wyo., and Childress, Texas.
