Banner Alzheimer’s Institute will hold the fifth-annual “Shine a Light on All Dementias” community event from 3:30 - 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, on the lawn of the Arizona State Capitol, 1700 W. Washington St.
The free event is designed to challenge stereotypes, raise awareness and bring hope surrounding Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia, in recognition of National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. Participants can enjoy fun family activities, live music, yoga, photos with Santa, community resources and more.
