Sherry Christensen

Sherry Christensen, our beloved Sherry passed away on July23, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Her loving family was beside her bed. Born in Salt Lake City, UT on June 18, 1937 to Gwendolyn and Marvin Clayton. She graduated from Olympus High School (SLC) and married the love of her life Larry on September 5, 1956. The two were able to travel to many parts of the world, as well as living in seven states and thirteen cities here in the USA. Sherry was a very loving and compassionate person. Her warmth, disarming smile &twinkle in her eyes created an aura around her that everyone gravitated to. But her vibrant energy will live on in her husband of 61 years, her mother Gwendolyn {100 years young) her children Mark of LA, CA, Carrie, Kimberly & Kara (La Grow) all of Surprise, AZ and two grandsons Andreas and Alexander LaGrow.The Celebration of Life took place on July 27th, at the Legacy Funeral Home, Sun City. AZ.
