Sheila Virginia

Bonesteel, 83 SUN CITY WEST - Sheila Virginia Bonesteel was born on Flag Day, Jun. 14th, 1933, and went home to be with Jesus on Veteran's Day, Nov. 11th, 2016. Sheila passed into the kingdom of God while being sung to by her eldest daughter, Pam, and granddaughter, Timmary. Sheila was born in Indian Lake, N.Y., the first child born to Leda and Donald, as well as the beloved step-daughter of Arthur. Upon Sheila's mother's passing, she assumed the mantle of family matriarch, the honor and responsibility of which she carried for many years. Sheila had a love of music and was a gifted pianist. She also had a love of fashion, tulips, strawberries, and cross stitch. However, nothing came close to the adoration she had for her husband of over 65 years, Jack. In Jack's eyes, his "Sweetie Pie" could do no wrong. Jack never waivered on making sure everyone knew Sheila and her wants and needs came first, right to the very end. Along with her beloved husband, Jack, Sheila leaves behind her first born, devoted daughter, Pam (Doug), cherished son, John, and baby of the family, Jackie (Doug). Sheila also leaves behind sisters Joan, Sandy (Tom), and Daphne (Steve); grandchildren Brian, Erin, Sean, Samantha (Josh), and Timmary; great grandchildren, Daisy and Dylan, along with many nieces and nephews who will deeply miss her. Sheila has finally been set free from Alzheimer's and her family rejoices. A private service will be held at a later date.
