I am compelled to respond to Mr. Postgate’s letter imploring that Donald Trump rule the U.S. as an emperor.

The riveting opening night of the Jan. 6 Commission reminded those of us who believe in our democracy that this “emperor” truly has no clothes.

Liz Cheney laid out a compelling opening argument for the case to convict Trump of sedition.

I’m looking forward to watching the remaining testimony of the bipartisan commission in the days ahead.
