Shadow Ridge cross country runners ready for state

The most complete boys cross country team Shadow Ridge has fielded is ready for a run at the top five in the state.

On Nov. 2, the Stallions placed second in their sectional meet with 58 points, just behind Phoenix Brophy Prep with 47.

“I thought we were going to get first but there were a few things that didn’t go our way. I think it’s good because we can make adjustments and improve,” Shadow Ridge boys cross country coach Arrick Nietert said.
