ShadeTree Golf and Pickleball opens in Mesa
Posted
To accommodate the explosive growth and popularity of pickleball as well as the Valley’s ongoing love affair with golf, ShadeTree Golf and Pickleball has opened a 3,400-square-foot retail store at 2853 S. Sossaman Road Suite No. 102 in Mesa.
The store features a full range of golf and pickleball equipment, shoes, bags and apparel as well as a hitting cage for golfers, according to a release.
The family owned and operated ShadeTree Golf and Pickleball also offers golf club repairs, regripping and customized golf clubs.
“We have built a very loyal following after 10 years at Mesa Market Place and felt it was time to expand our space and our inventory of products and services and to reach even more fans of golf and pickleball,” owner Jeff Brown said in the release. “Pickleball has rocketed in popularity and golf continues to attract a very diverse base of men, women and young people to the sport, and both sports offer a very unique social component. We want golfers and pickleball players to have everything they need to make their experiences on the courts and the courses experiences fun and memorable.”
ShadeTree Golf and Pickleball, on the southeast corner of Sossamon and Guadalupe roads, is open 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
Brown said he plans to “spend a lot of time talking with our customers to make sure we are meeting their needs and to help shape how we expand what we offer to them. With all the changes and improvements taking place with both sports, we want to be on top of it.”
