Sexyy Red’s first headlining tour to make Phoenix stop

Hop-hop sensation will make Van Buren appearance

Following the release of her new album “Hood Hottest Princess,” Sexyy Red announces her first headlining tour, which will stop in downtown Phoenix.

Making waves in the hip-hop and rap worlds, her Hood Hottest Princess Tour comes to town for a show Friday, Nov. 24 at The Van Buren, 401 W. Van Buren St. Tickets are available now at Ticketmaster.com.

Sexyy Red was recently added as support for Drake and 21 Savage on the remainder of Drake’s It’s All a Blur Tour.

Her own 20-city tour kicks off Oct. 16 at The Paradise Rock Club in Boston before making stops across the U.S. in Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles and more before wrapping up in San Francisco at The Fillmore in November.

Sexyy Red’s “Hood Hottest Princess” album, released in June, entering Top 10 on the U.S. Apple Music Top Albums the day of release, and reached the Billboard 200 three weeks later. That same week, Sexyy Red debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 with “Pound Town 2” featuring Nicki Minaj.
