Settlement reached between state and Mesa assisted living facility

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes has reached a settlement agreement with Heritage Village Assisted Living in Mesa that permanently bars its owners from providing health care services to vulnerable adults in the state.

Mayes asked the court Thursday to bar Gary Langendoen, Tracy Langendoen and any companies owned by the California real estate investors from providing those services in the state.

They will also pay $100,000 in civil penalties.
