Services for Gilbert Public Schools Governing Board President Sheila Rogers Uggetti have been scheduled as the school district prepares to move on without its longtime champion.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at St. Mary’s Basilica, 231 N. Third St., Phoenix. The rosary will start at 9:30 a.m.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, people consider donating to the Gilbert Educational Foundation or to any cancer or literacy foundation.
