Frauds and scams continue to claim victims in Sun City and Sun City West, and local officials are working to make sure they are more protected.
Educating the public has been a top priority for Valley law enforcement through the years, and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and Maricopa County Attorney’s Office have again teamed to give seniors information to help them remain safe and protected from falling victim to fraud.
Despite flyers and other resources, increases in fraud continue, but adding a personal touch to convey real stories of fraud is one way Capt. Brian Stutsman, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 3, hopes to reach residents.
