Senate passes bill that would keep Axon in Scottsdale

A bill that would keep security technology maker Axon in Scottsdale has passed the Legislature.

The Arizona Senate passed Senate Bill 1543, which would allow Axon to side step a referendum on the building of 1,895 apartments as part of the company’s plan to build a world headquarters in Scottsdale, today by a vote of 17-13.

The House of Representatives passed the bill last week by a 40-19 vote.
