Seeing kids on e-bikes, scooters scares reader

Peoria grandmother concerned about dangerous habits, enforcement

OPINION — It’s about time something is being done with kids on e-bikes. It’s a scary thing to see these kids on these fast bikes and scooters.

The way some kids ride them there is no regard to anyone else on the sidewalk or road; without a helmet most of the time.

Where are their parents? Do they not know that their child is putting themselves at risk of a fall or a life-threatening accident?
