Pastor Tom Tripp has a great article on expectations.
Many times we forget who we are and are led astray by what others think we should be, including ourselves. Each of us are unique individuals. We don’t realize our own personal gifts that we have to offer.
Many times others assume that they know better what is best for us. We all struggle to know who we are capable of. Climbing that ladder of success can often be steering us in the wrong direction.
“To be nobody but yourself in a world that’s doing its best to make you something else is to fight the hardest battle your are ever going to fight. Never stop fighting.” — E.E. Cummings.
