See what prizes are offered in this year's Phoenix Library summer reading program

Registration starts this week for the Phoenix Public Library’s summer reading program with prizes on the line.

The county-wide Maricopa County Reads program encourages children as well as readers of all ages to read for at least 20 minutes a day over the summer.

Registration, at MaricopaCountyReads.org, opens Friday, May 1 and the summer program reading period is June 1-July 15.
