Looking for something to do to get out and enjoy the weather in Sun City West?
The Recreation Centers of Sun City West, 19803 N. R.H. Johnson Blvd., special events department hosted the first of four scavenger hunts. Eighteen cacti were made by the Sun City West Woodshop Club and were placed throughout the four recreation centers and seven golf courses to find trivia questions pertaining to the community.
The February scavenger hunt was open for 13 days. Kasey Huhta, RCSCW special events manager, said many participants turned in worksheets and received a complimentary swag item for Statz Agency and Insurance, which was the sponsor. Gift baskets were also provided by Statz Agency and Insurance for three winners. One was a mystery box, a movie and game night and a coffee basket.
