Sun City West Meals on Wheels needs volunteers.

The organization needs drivers and office personnel. Drivers are asked to volunteer one morning a week, every week for a month. Then volunteer every other month. Office personnel would have a similar schedule except those individuals can choose to work one month on and one month off or work every week. To learn more about becoming a driver, call 623-882-5511. If meal preparation is becoming difficult or challenging or anyone recovering from an illness or surgery, call Sun City West Meals on Wheels for help. Delivery is offered six days a week, Monday through Saturday. Individuals can choose to receive meals each of those days or any combination of days.

Meals are provided for those who require a regular diet and for those who are in need of a special diet. Each day’s delivery consists of a hot and a cold meal, the cost per day is $10.50. Meals are prepared at Grandview Care Center. For assistance, call 623-455-7680.
