Scottsdale's TAAZE collects $459,600 in its fight against Axon

The political action committee trying to put the Axon world headquarters plan on a referendum ballot raised just over $459,600 in cash and in-kind donations from outside corporations and labor unions, but it did not receive any support from local residents.

Taxpayers Against Awful Zoning Exemptions’ campaign finance report shows the PAC received $30,200 in cash from the Arizona Public Integrity Alliance and another $407,800 in in-kind donations from it.

The PAC also received just over $21,600 from the Worker Power group, a political arm of the Unite Here labor union. Unite Here is based in California but has offices in Arizona.
