Scottsdale’s neighboring communities support legal case against FAA

FAA, Scottsdale legal proceedings remain in limbo amid failed mediation

Three Valley communities have thrown their support behind Scottsdale’s lawsuit against the Federal Aviation Administration.

Further, mediation between the FAA and city of Scottsdale was deemed unsuccessful in August, according to court documents in the case.

The town of Fountain Hills, Salt-River Pima Maricopa Indian Community and Fort McDowell Yavapi Nation filed an Aug. 6 notice of intent to file an amicus curiae brief in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
