Scottsdale’s Kasai Japanese Steakhouse sold to local business

Kasai Japanese Steakhouse, the experiential teppanyaki and sushi destination that’s been locally owned and operated by the Russello family in Scottsdale for 25 years, has been sold by the Russellos to Scottsdale-based restaurant group EDGI, led by entrepreneur Robert Stidham.

EDGI will continue operating Kasai, 14344 N Scottsdale Road, as guests know while preparing to franchise the concept nationally, according to a press release

Kasai first opened in Scottsdale in 2001 and has built a reputation for teppanyaki dining, sushi and dinnertainment.
