Scottsdale’s International School of Arizona turns 25

Anniversary’s theme is ‘Seasons of Love.’

The International School of Arizona turns 25 years old this year. Staff, faculty and students are celebrating the anniversary with a theme of “Seasons of Love” for the year.

When Joao Eras-Jorge moved to the Phoenix area with his wife and two children from France, he quickly ran into a problem.

There was no where for his children to continue their French education.

So Jorge, a mechanical engineer by trade, opened the International School of Arizona with 15 kids in a church basement in Mesa in 1998.
