The International School of Arizona Board of Trustees has appointed Nathan Walker as the school’s next head of school, effective July 1, 2027.
Walker succeeds Jason Smith, who will continue to lead the school through June 30, 2027, to ensure a seamless transition, according to a press release.
Walker’s appointment follows a comprehensive national search led by the board of trustees, a search committee and the Educators Collaborative consultant. Following extensive interviews and campus visits with faculty, staff, parents, and trustees, the board unanimously approved Walker’s selection.
