Scottsdale’s leaders say Scottsdale is a city people aspire to live in.

That may or may not be true, but if they do, people aren’t achieving that aspiration.

Scottsdale only grew 0.4% between 2023 and 2024, according to a recent report from the U.S. Census Department.
