Scottsdale Unified renews school resource officer agreement

Officers secured for two district schools

Scottsdale Unified School District’s governing board has authorized the agreement for two school resource officers, SROs, to serve during the 2022-23 fiscal year at Ingleside Middle and Arcadia High Schools.

At the June 28 meeting, the board members approved the agreement for two SROs — one for each school — to support in-school safety and security goals.

This agreement between the district and city of Phoenix, which is renewed yearly, establishes that the city is paid a total of $286,590 for the services provided for the upcoming school year.
