Community education and early learning in Scottsdale Unified School District has been approved to accept a monthly grant — totaling $202,600 each month — to support their respective programs.
Anasazi Elementary School, among other district elementary schools, received approval from SUSD’s governing board at its Dec. 6 meeting to accept grants received through the Child Care Stabilization Grant program. The approval passed on consent.
The program, run by Arizona’s Department of Economic Security, has distributed funding to child care providers for increased costs and challenges related to COVID-19.
