Emergency pandemic grant funding that totaled more than $29.5 million will continue aiding Scottsdale Unified School District students in coming years, targeting learning by providing dollars for tutoring and other supports like behavior specialists.

Responding to the coronavirus pandemic, Scottsdale Unified received three Elementary and Secondary School Relief grants that were used within district schools.

According to district documents, the ESSER grants have been spent on things such as employee pay while online and learning intervention.
