Scottsdale Unified considers possibilities for its fine arts programs

Numbers down due to pandemic with hope for future comeback

Offering a variety of fine arts opportunities for its students, Scottsdale Unified School District looks to continue supporting those arts programs following a discussion on their current state and how they can be further developed.

According to documents from the district’s governing board, a recent request was made by a board member to discuss where Scottsdale Unified arts stand and possibilities for them in the future.

The document explained that the presentation discussed areas within the district’s fine arts programs such as enrollment (considering the effects of the pandemic), resources for supporting teachers and future ideas for how to grow and support SUSD arts programs.
