Scottsdale Taste of Italy, music festival set for Oct. 15-16

Celebration of Italian culture with live music, food at Scottsdale Waterfront

Scottsdale’s Taste of Italy and Music Festival will bring Italian culture, food, and entertainment to the Valley this month.

Hosted by the Italian Association of Arizona, a local 501(c)(3), this two-day celebration will take place on the Scottsdale Canal and feature everything from live music and unique, hand-crafted Italian items to wine tastings, authentic Italian cuisine, pizza ovens and Italian food trucks, according to a press release. 

Entertainers will perform including Michéal Castaldo, hailed as the next Andrea Bocelli and accordion player, Cory Pesaturo. Attendees can enjoy traditional dances, opera singers, live performances on two stages all day long and a spaghetti eating contest for kids.

Scottsdale’s Taste of Italy and Music Festival will bring Italian culture, food, and entertainment to the Valley this month.

For sweet tooths a variety of authentic gelato, Italy’s favorite dessert, cannoli, and biscotti, all available to indulge in.

The event takes place 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, along the Scottsdale Waterfront, 7135 E. Camelback Road.

Admission is $10 presale or $20 on the day of the event. Children under 12 are free to attend. Visit www.ItalianAssociation.org for event details.
