Scottsdale students excel at universities

Three students from Scottsdale graduated from university in May and one earned the Dean's Honor Roll.

Four students from Scottsdale are recognized for their accomplishments at universities across the United States.
More than 2,800 students graduated from Tufts University in May. Graduates included Alex Kiefus and Jennelle Yarwood.
Kiefus graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Spanish and major in Spanish cultural studies, and Yarwood graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in biology, according to a press release.
Tufts University is located in Boston, Medford/Somerville and Grafton, Massachusetts, and in Talloires, France. It’s recognized among the premier research universities in the United States.
Natalie Clunk graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bradley University in May.
Clunk was among more than 900 students who earned degrees, a press release stated. Bradley University is a private university in Peoria, Illinois.
The University of Wyoming lists Xavier Dusell on the 2023 spring semester Dean’s and Dean’s Freshman Honor Rolls.
The honor rolls consist of regularly enrolled undergraduates above freshman standing who earned a 3.4 or better grade-point average, and freshmen who have earned a 3.25 or better grade-point average, according to a press release.
Established in 1886, UW is a nationally recognized research institution with accomplished faculty and world-class facilities, offering 200 areas of study.
