If you’ve been seeing horses of another color — or colors — around town lately, it’s OK. You’re not hallucinating.
It’s all part of the Scottsdale Stallion Stampede put on by the Rotary Club of Scottsdale Foundation.
The Stampede consists of 18 fiberglass Arabian Stallions posed in all different positions, from rearing up to standing peacefully, painted in different themes. There are as many color schemes as there are horses. There’s everything from gold, silver, black and white geometric shapes adorning one horse to a desert landscape painted in the brilliant colors of an Arizona sunset on another.
