Scottsdale sports medicine clinic welcomes new hire

A Scottsdale-based sports medicine clinic is welcoming a new hire onto their team.

According to a press release, Desert Spine and Sports Physicians has hired Dr. Paul Pannozzo, M.D., to the clinic. Pannozzo specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain management.

Pannozzo is experienced in treating chronic pain condition using evidence-based techniques. He specializes in non-surgical, interventional treatments. According to the press release, Pannozzo has expertise in a wide array of non-invasive treatments including Vertifilex, spinal cord stimulators, peripheral nerve implants and more.

Pannozzo’s ultimate goal is to alleviate pain and restore function via minimally invasive and non-surgical interventions that empower patients to regain their independence.

Pannozzo graduated Magna Cum Laude from Kent State University. He earned his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University Medical Center. This expertise was further honed with a fellowship in interventional pain management at Physiatrist Associates.
