Scottsdale shooting victim stable after surgeries: PD

Posted

A man who was shot and walked to the front of a Scottsdale restaurant before being taken to a hospital is in stable condition, police said Sunday morning.

The victim went through at least two surgeries since he was injured about 3:15 p.m. Nov. 4, according to police.

After being shot, the victim walked to the front of the Lo Lo’s Chicken and Waffles restaurant near Scottsdale and Thomas roads and then was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

The restaurant was not directly involved, and authorities said investigators now know the shooting was a isolated incident involving the victim and the suspects, but they do not know where it took place.

There is “no known ongoing threat to the community,” a Scottsdale Police Department release stated.
