The Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board has approved an intergovernmental agreement with the city of Scottsdale to provide auditing services for the construction and redevelopment of Hohokam Elementary School.
On Feb. 16, the SUSD Governing Board voted 4-1, with board member Patty Beckman the dissenting vote, to use the city’s auditors for the Hohokam bond project under specified conditions as outlined between legal counsel from the district and the city.
SUSD will pay the city $90,000 for the audit based on percentage of completion and will be billed quarterly on the first day of the month following the quarter, according to a district staff report.
