Scottsdale schools agree to form relationship with SRPMIC

A formal agreement to improve educational opportunities and academic achievement of Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community students was approved by the Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board.

Part of an intergovernmental agreement, the Governing Board also added a land acknowledgment agreement presented for public knowledge to be included in the agenda packets henceforth, stated Governing Board President Jann-Michael Greenburg at the April 7 meeting.

The IGA between SUSD and SRPMIC is in effect from the 2021-22 school year and lasts through the 2025-2026 school year, unless terminated early.
