Some Scottsdale Unified School District voters have reportedly received mailed postcards that may include hand-written notes or offensive language attacking a school board candidate.
Robb Vaules, one of five candidates seeking election to the SUSD governing board in the upcoming Nov. 8 general election, is the person these mailers are aimed at.
The Independent has received photos of the alleged mailers. On one side is a lengthy paragraph that states “Your residence is the recipient of this mailer because you have publicly supported Robb Vaules for the Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board.” It goes on to say “Robb is not the candidate he claims to be,” and tells the recipient to “please change your support and vote for anyone but Robb Vaules.”
