Following Adel’s resignation, political hopefuls throw together campaigns

In an emergency bid to appear on the ballot for a special election following the resignation of Maricopa County Attorney Allister Adel, a Scottsdale attorney garnered more than 4,000 online signatures in one day.

There are six people who have filed statement of interests to quickly gather signatures for the county attorney’s race, according to Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer on March 23.
