Scottsdale resident Jeanne Davis is an aviation ground breaker

When Jeanne Davis’ husband Guy got out of the Navy as a pilot, the two moved back to the Midwest — St. Louis to be exact.

They got tired of the Midwest so the two loaded up their two-year-old son and moved to California in 1959.

Guy got a job interview in Hawaii and took off to see if it was a good fit.
