Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty announces former professional baseball player Ian Gardeck as the newest addition to its Camelback Tower office, 6900 E. Camelback Road, suite 110.

Gardeck graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in business administration and management. Gardeck was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in 2011, the San Francisco Giants in 2012, and the Tampa Bay Rays in 2018.

In addition to his baseball career, Gardeck comes from an athletic family. His brother Dennis plays for the Arizona Cardinals.

After facing challenges, including overcoming two Tommy John surgeries, Gardeck made the decision to retire from professional baseball in 2020. His retirement has now led him to embark on a new journey in the real estate industry.

"I am thrilled to be joining Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty," said Gardeck. "I am looking forward to working with some of the top agents in The Valley and joining Arizona’s leading agency in the luxury market. I am ready to start helping our clients achieve their real estate goals."
