Scottsdale police, teachers receive COVID-19 vaccine as supply nears end

HonorHealth has administered tens of thousands COVID-19 vaccines, but supply isn’t expected to last after February, one official says.

Michelle Pabis, HonorHealth vice president of government and community affairs, said in a Feb. 9 virtual update to Scottsdale City Council, the vaccine distribution has been going well but Maricopa County hasn’t received a new shipment of the Pfizer vaccine in two weeks.

Arizona’s two senators are requesting 300,000 more doses for Arizona as supplies dwindle.
