The Scottsdale Police Department is inviting community members to provide comments and feedback as it enter the reaccreditation review with the Arizona Law Enforcement Accreditation Program.
To achieve reaccreditation, the Scottsdale Police Department must comply with 174 standards. Accreditation is valid for a four-year period during which time the agency must submit annual reports attesting to its continued compliance with those standards under which it was initially accredited, according to a press release.
