Scottsdale Police are asking for the public’s help in its investigation of a shooting during a Halloween party early Sunday morning.
Officers responded about 12:30 a.m. to a home in the 10000 of East Windgate Ranch Road for reports of a large Halloween party when a caller advised dispatch that a party-goer had been shot, according to police.

Scottsdale Police seek public’s help solving shooting

Police are seeking the public’s help in a shooting case that occurred around 12:30 a.m. at a Halloween party Oct. 26.

Scottsdale Police are asking for the public’s help in its investigation of a shooting during a Halloween party early Sunday morning.
Officers responded about 12:30 a.m. to a home in the 10000 of East Windgate Ranch Road for reports of a large Halloween party when a caller advised dispatch that a party-goer had been shot, according to police.
Officers arrived on scene and located the male juvenile victim and numerous witnesses.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Detectives and crime scene specialists responded to the scene. This investigation is ongoing.
Police are asking anyone with additional information about the case to please call the Scottsdale Police Tip Line at 480-312-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous.
Police are also reminding people sharing information on social media is not the same as reporting it directly to the police.
