A confrontation between a Scottsdale Police officer and a man identifying himself as a video blogger, or vlogger, has led to death threats against the officer, according to Scottsdale Police Chief Jeff Walther.
The police have posted security measures at the home of Scottsdale Police Officer Carlyn Shepp, Walther wrote in an email about the situation to city council.
Video of the confrontation between Shepp and Amagansett Press representative Jason Gutterman has been viewed more than 500,000 times on YouTube and city officials have been inundated with calls for Shepp “to be fired, jailed and murdered” Walther wrote.
