The the Scottsdale Police Department’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit and other local police agencies made 173 arrests during a multi-agency operation focused on identifying and arresting sex buyers, child predators and individuals involved in the sex trade and human trafficking.
There were multiple victims of sex trafficking, all of whom were provided services and resources for support and recovery, according to a press release from the Scottsdale Police Department. .
The operation occurred between Jan. 21 and Feb. 14.
