Police sought his capture after incidents that occurred on June 28 when he was wanted for multiple charges stemming from an alleged officer-involved vehicle collision in downtown Scottsdale.
He reportedly backed into an officer’s motorcycle during a traffic stop near City Hall before stealing an ambulance, according to a previous police press release.
The initial incident was near Indian School and Scottsdale roads when an officer was reportedly hit after a motorist was stopped and intentionally reversed into the officer’s motorcycle.
The suspect allegedly fled the traffic stop, according to published reports, noting Crook was wanted for aggravated assault on an officer, theft of an emergency vehicle and other charges.
