Scottsdale PD arrests teen in connection with shooting

Scottsdale police have arrested a 17-year-old male in connection with a shooting that left one person injured outside a large house party in north Scottsdale.
At approximately 12:28 a.m. on October 26, 2025, officers responded to reports of a large gathering at a residence near Bell Road and Thompson Peak Parkway. While officers were en route, dispatchers received information that someone at the party had been shot outside, according to a press release from the Scottsdale Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found a male victim who had been shot in the shoulder. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the release.

Scottsdale police have arrested a 17-year-old male in connection with a shooting that left one person injured outside a large house party in north Scottsdale.
At approximately 12:28 a.m. on October 26, 2025, officers responded to reports of a large gathering at a residence near Bell Road and Thompson Peak Parkway. While officers were en route, dispatchers received information that someone at the party had been shot outside, according to a press release from the Scottsdale Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found a male victim who had been shot in the shoulder. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the release.
Police secured the scene and spoke with witnesses, while detectives and crime scene specialists responded.
Detectives immediately began working the crime scene, conducting interviews and obtaining surveillance camera footage from the surrounding area that had any useful images.
After a thorough investigation detectives arrested a 17-year-old male suspect on Nov. 5.
The teen is now in custody and was booked on multiple charges related to aggravated assault and weapons offenses, according to the report.
Police are not releasing the identity of the suspect because he is a minor.
