The Scottsdale Police Department has arrested eight additional individuals in the ongoing investigation into the downtown Scottsdale riots of May 30, officials say.

A juvenile male Valley resident was arrested for burglary and possession of stolen property. Stolen merchandise was recovered during the arrest, police say. His name is being withheld due to his minor status.

Brittany Mantz, a 27-year-old female and Valley resident, was arrested for trafficking stolen property.

A juvenile female Valley resident was charged with trafficking stolen property and theft. Stolen merchandise was recovered during the investigation, police say. Her name is being withheld due to her minor status.

Valley resident, 20-year-old Alex Benjamin Grangroth was arrested for rioting, burglary, and unlawful assembly.

Devion Gardner-Jones, a 19-year-old male and Valley resident, was arrested for trafficking stolen property, possession of stolen property, and misconduct involving weapons.

Mr. Gardner-Jones was armed with a handgun at the time of his arrest and he is a prohibited possessor on felony release from jail, police say.

Also arrested for trafficking of stolen property were 21-year-old male Valley resident Joshua Michael Bosch and 23-year-old male Valley resident Shavanta Dominique Winfree.

Both are accomplices of Gardner-Jones and stolen property was recovered during the investigation.

A juvenile male Valley resident was charged with trafficking stolen property and theft. Stolen merchandise was recovered during the arrest. His name is being withheld due to his minor status.

This brings the total number of arrests to 44 for crimes committed during the May 30 and 31 civil unrest. The investigation is ongoing, police say.
